Merry Christmas

I wish everyone to have a blessed Christmas.

It is really difficult to celebrate this season away from your family.  I could not help but cry because I really miss my family back home. Though, through improved technology, we were able to see them in skype, ym video chat... still the idea of having near them and being able to to hug them, and kiss them really makes all overseas workers like me to feel so sad and so empty inside.

But if we think of the real essence of Christmas, we will realize that there is no reason for us to be sad.  For this is the day when God proved His greatest love for us.  Giving us the greatest gift, the Only way we could return to Him is through The Gift He has given us... His Only Son, The Precious One, Jesus.  His Birth means our Salvation.

Despite all the tragedies coming into our lives, let us not forget that God has, is and will always be there for us.

Merry Christmas..

Christmas time again

Living away from home is very difficult, specially during this season... the holidays, christmas, new year...aaahh the feasts, love it and miss it so much...

The reason is, I have been away from home for about 5 years and have not been able to celebrate Christmas back home. I had a chance to go home for a month vacation but not in these month.

I try to remember the ways we Filipino celebrate Christmas.  Quite a long celebration, from as early as December 16, 2011, Simbang Gabi or the midnight mass, Catholics observe masses for nine consecutive days, and the main event, the Christmas mass... after attending the Christmas Day mass, kids will go to their respective ninongs and ninangs for their aguinaldos and gifts.

Really, it gives every Christians a wonderfull feelings of knowing that there is Someone up there who love us.  Christmas is not only a time for exchanging gifts more importantly this is the time we celebrate the birth of our only Saviour, Jesus.  To remember how God love us and that He gave the most precious gift that we could ever receive in oour entire life, only if we are willing to accept.

Advance merry Christmas to all....
